A poll for the betulists. I suppose most public instances run on cheap VPS:es. How much RAM do they have? Do you compile Betula yourself there? Do you use pre-built binaries? Where do you get them?

@computersandblues you do what? 🤯 Are you repurposing the smartphone as a server? Or is it your daily carry? @betula it used to be the smartphone i use daily, but it's repurposed now. there is some information here if you're interested https://post.lurk.org/@computersandblues/112570463568163343 @betula Running on a nuc. I actually use Docker, to run it through Portainer. I build it as part of the image-building process. it’s then exposed via tailscale funnel. Great fun @betula Sure! https://betula.tail3c2d2c.ts.net/ 6000+ bookmarks are private (import from Raindrop). |
@betula i'm running betula on an old smartphone that has 6GB of ram. i could pull it from the alpine repositories, but i prefer to fetch the latest release from git and build it myself
