@Gargron is there also a community feature request/bug report interface/repo for the app? I’d love if my notifications didn’t show up with the entire full-size post for each notification. They’re just SO BIG 😅 @b_cavello Yes! Everything we do can be found through github.com/mastodon. That is a common complaint, I'll bump it up with the designers. @Gargron ah! I didn’t realize it was all in one spot. How handy. Thank you so much! @Gargron @b_cavello Kind of related: I do love the iOS app’s approach to CWs (the big, bold, centered text) and I do see the argument for keeping the post size intact (I assume to give an indication of post length) but it really does take up a lot of room if you’re trying to scroll past a CW’d thread that’s several posts long. (Unrelated dislike: the app insists on switching my posts to followers-only.) @bix @b_cavello Hi, that's probably because your account is set to require follower approval. That sets your default posting visibility to followers-only. @Gargron But it doesn’t happen that way in the web interface. I have my settings to default public posts and that’s always what the posting form is set to when I go to post.

@Gargron create an auto translate button and an option to show more "touts" from accounts front other instances that we follow worldwide, in Android app . Thanks @Gargron Thank you for your work. Is there any way to support you? I'm new here and would really like to know, technical, marketing or simple monitary? :catjam:

@Gargron sounds awesome! I’ve been using the iOS app a lot. This may be more of a personal preference thing but I’ve found that the “pull to refresh” feels a bit, stiff? Like I have to pull down farther than I think I do to trigger it. I realize that probably goes down at the bottom of the triage list if anything, just wanted it to be said. @Bluewall That's strange, I cannot reproduce this. Do you have any language filters set up? @Gargron Viel Erfolg euch weiterhin- verfolge das Projekt auf Github schon länger print("Toot! not Tweet") // Prints "Toot! not Tweet" @Gargron do you have a TestFlight version or a beta program that I could join as I’d love to help but since I can’t help with the project by submitting code - I could help by been a beta tester and testing the app and submitting bug reports. @gargron i feel like "instance timeline" makes more sense than "community timeline" like, the whole point is building a community, is it not ? @violet I'm not sure how A follows from B here. It sounds like your last paragraph is in favour of naming it community timeline. (Also, "instance" is an outdated term. We've been using "server" for years now) @gargron i meant that "community timeline" doesn't sell the idea that it's the server that you signed up on because community could also refer to mastodon or the fediverse as a whole i feel like "instance timeline" or "server timeline" make that more clear |
@Gargron Community timeline is a huge addition!
