@arnfinnp Everyone can photoshop* *except people who can't afford Adobe tools or run Linux @spacekookie @arnfinnp not being able to / not wanting to afford Adobe stuff is no problem :blobcatpirate: @spruwel A matter of time until what? We abolish money and adobe? @spacekookie Something like that, yes ;-) Ok, more precise: it's a matter of time before those technics will be available in other Software, cheap and/or open source, without vendor lock-in. But perhaps that's all a bit too much wishfull thinking... @spruwel Maybe a bit but I think some wishful thinking can be very good. We desperately need better graphics and creative tooling on Linux. One of my goals for the end of the year is to try and join the kdenlive development process during the KDE Akademy in September. As someone who loves video editing work I would love to have better colour grading tools, maybe even some kind of node editor a la blender shaders :thonking: Now THAT is wishful thinking haha @arnfinnp@oslo.town "everyone can" ...as long as you can afford it, and you're not using an operating system that we refuse to support :spinny_fox: @arnfinnp When I taught Photoshop before this tool I actually did use before and after examples of Soviet era propaganda photos as project templates. Getting rid of people standing in front of wallpaper used to be tricky! @arnfinnp Judged by your profile photo it's not very good at all. That man in the background is still half visible! Stalin would not have approved. @arnfinnp Feel free to add insults and other things to express your antipathy for Adobe. |

The royal family beg to differ!
