I’ve got a new camera! Pentax KX. Unlike the Canon Ae-1 Program, it’s fully mechanical. Everything seems to be in working order, except the focusing ring being misaligned and rotating past infinity.

@Gargron I learned 35mm photography on a hand-me-down K1000 back in the day. Awesome cameras. @Gargron beautiful camera. Yes I still have my grandfather's Asahi Pentax Spotmatic camera, with a zoom lens, flash, etc. Haven't used it for decades but it was all still working 100% when I last used 35mm film. @Gargron nice! I have my granddfather's Pentax ME but it has some similar issues and I haven't had a lot of success with it. Lovely camera though. @Gargron my first was an AE-1, and I also got a K-1000 for that very reason as well. Fully mechanical=long exposure beast @Gargron apologies for saying this, but does that mean " To infinity, and beyond". On another note, my second slr was a Pentax ME Super. Lovely camera. |
@Gargron That looks pretty clean. I hope it comes with a camera case.
