This is an interesting idea. We'll have a look into filtering bot accounts as part of this project!
Forgot to say, in the meantime if you log into Newsmast with your Mastodon account - we block all bots on our Community timelines besides those which we have chosen to follow.
Might not be the perfect solution but feel free to check it out!
