Yesterday we were preparing a place for Tbilisi Guix Meetup and one of the residents of hackerspace brough an arm thinkpad. It's the first RISC laptop I see in person that feels modern and satisfying.
Maybe we will try to build a Guix image for it.

@cbleslie It's arm. ARM is a RISC architecture, as well as RISC-V, MIPS, POWERPC and some others. @daviwil Yes, this is a picture from notebook check site, but the unit I tried is similiar. keytravel is bit shallow comparing to x1 yoga/carbon, but built quility looks amazing at first glance. BTW, how is key travel on x1 nano comparing to x1 carbon? @abcdw it's a bit more shallow but it's totally acceptable for me, I've used far worse laptop keyboards |
