@protonprivacy any chances of hosting it via F-Droid as well? You already have Pass and VPN there, wouldn't mind Mail and Drive too :)

@protonprivacy

And the source code too, thanks a bunch!

Is there a reason why issues are disabled on the repo?
Even if you guys don't plan to use them, it'd still be a useful forum for users to track issues workarounds and fixes.

While we're on the topic, could you re-enable issues on the old repo for posterity's sake? The repo is archived anyways, so there won't be any further activity as issues automatically become read-only.

@protonprivacy how can I switch to conversation mode?

OnTheFenceDev

@piouzi - I think it's on by default (while some will undoubtedly complain about) .. I can see conversations laid out in the same way as with the web app.

@protonprivacy Great! I was thinking when Android also gets a new one! Thanks! 🤩

@protonprivacy There is still no option to archive an email when viewing the email. I can do that on the iOS app and on the web, but not on the Android app.

Why the post contains only link to Google Play? Why Proton Mail app is not on alternative and more privacy friendly platform, like F-Droid?

@protonprivacy @kevingamin

I agree. The only way to do this is move, archive, save. We need the ability to customize that panel.

Kevin Gamin

@AutisticallyDriven @protonprivacy Fortunately, Android lets me create a shortcut to the ProtonMail site, and I can use it like an app, but not everybody knows how or wants to do that, so I’d love to see this functionality return to the Android app.

Really missing a F-droid release, this would've been a nice chance to do so.

Or even just having your own F-droid repro (in which case you're not bound to the F-droid rules, but at least users could download and keep track of updates without using the Google Play Store) 😕.

That's bothering me much more than the app itself ever did. Counts for all your apps really (beside the ones already on F-droid ofc)...

@protonprivacy looks good and I’m glad the app is getting so much better on both iOS and Android.

These Android folks clamoring for more “private” store options are giving me a good laugh though. You all know what you signed up for.

@protonprivacy Can one search content of emails yet, in the app? I have thousands and thousands of emails in my inbox and I can’t get by without content search, so it is what holds me back from switching.
