@tommythorn @NanoRaptor I saw it once in an "Our Galactic Neighbourhood" poster. I think astronomers do use this projection sometimes, but haven't seen fit yet to give it a catchy name. @spacehobo @tommythorn @NanoRaptor Apparently that radar scope was a late addition to Elite. It utterly blew my mind at the time. |
@spacehobo @NanoRaptor I always marveled at the genius of this 2D projection. I haven't seen it elsewhere.
