We found a tiny bit of internet(unstable) while in a really beautiful place, Codville Lagoon (52 °3.706'N 127° 50.262'W).

We traveled 40 NM by sail from Fury Cove, in the rain, but at least with wind from the stern. It was our most relaxing sail yet!

Some humpback whales were jumping in the little bay right near the narrow entrance channel. Devine saw one jump right out of the water!

Baah, I hate when the weather changes to a gale warning while we're underway. We listened to the 0400 forecast on VHF when we left at 0600, but not to the 1030 update (we were sailing).

Luckily, we made the decision to go through the back channels rather than going on the ocean side. There was plenty of wind so we stayed in the protected waters of Fitz Hugh Sound.

The winds suddenly rising to 34-47 knots would have been a bad surprise while in the open.

@rek A degree of longitude at your latitude is 6% shorter than where you began. Watch your step when you walk east or west!
