I made a new thing: slash pages dot net slashpages.net/

What is it? A guide to common pages you can add to your website. Thanks to @shellsharks
for the help in getting a good description together as well.

My blog post about it: rknight.me/blog/slash-pages/

Two #WeblogPoMo2024 posts in one day doesn't seem like a good idea this close to the end but yolo as the kids say

@robb the link to the site at the end after you say β€œyou can see it in all it's glory at” takes me to page not found.

@robb @shellsharks Way more appealing than going through the #indieweb wiki. Really like it!

@robb @shellsharks Nice!

I wonder if humans.txt would fit into this, or perhaps an idea for another project?

Hmm, I was going to link to humanstxt.org, looks like the site's no longer around?

@robb It looks like IndieWeb suggests β€œusing” over β€œuses”?

@robb This is really awesome. I’ve struggled to come up with ideas for pages on my website other than blog posts and projects. This is going to be really helpful πŸ˜ƒ Thanks for sharing.

@robb I've also seen…

- /architecture (matklad.github.io/2021/02/06/A)
- /carry (forget where I saw this, but it's basically an EDC listing)
- /defaults (might be encompassed by /uses?)
- /favorites (maybe similar to interests?)
- /til (mharty3.github.io/blog/til/)

and don't forget about /chipotle 🌢️ (shellsharks.com/chipotle) πŸ˜† - a little fun I had with this whole concept.

Awesome work! Love the idea and the look.

@robb @shellsharks how are we supposed to fit all these on our navigation menus? Do we need a /slashes page?

Tom

@flamed @robb @shellsharks I simply made a sitemap. As in a page called /sitemap, for humans, like we used to have in the past.
