I made a new thing: slash pages dot net slashpages.net/

What is it? A guide to common pages you can add to your website. Thanks to @shellsharks
for the help in getting a good description together as well.

My blog post about it: rknight.me/blog/slash-pages/

โ€”

Two #WeblogPoMo2024 posts in one day doesn't seem like a good idea this close to the end but yolo as the kids say

A white background that says slashpages in red bold capitalized font in the middle. Behind it is faded words that say /now and /uses

@robb the link to the site at the end after you say โ€œyou can see it in all it's glory atโ€ takes me to page not found.

@robb @shellsharks Way more appealing than going through the #indieweb wiki. Really like it!

@robb @shellsharks Nice!

I wonder if humans.txt would fit into this, or perhaps an idea for another project?

Hmm, I was going to link to humanstxt.org, looks like the site's no longer around?

@robb It looks like IndieWeb suggests โ€œusingโ€ over โ€œusesโ€?

@robb This is really awesome. Iโ€™ve struggled to come up with ideas for pages on my website other than blog posts and projects. This is going to be really helpful ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Thanks for sharing.

@robb I've also seenโ€ฆ

- /architecture (matklad.github.io/2021/02/06/A)
- /carry (forget where I saw this, but it's basically an EDC listing)
- /defaults (might be encompassed by /uses?)
- /favorites (maybe similar to interests?)
- /til (mharty3.github.io/blog/til/)

and don't forget about /chipotle ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ (shellsharks.com/chipotle) ๐Ÿ˜† - a little fun I had with this whole concept.

Awesome work! Love the idea and the look.

@robb @shellsharks how are we supposed to fit all these on our navigation menus? Do we need a /slashes page?

Tom

@flamed @robb @shellsharks I simply made a sitemap. As in a page called /sitemap, for humans, like we used to have in the past.
