Gregory's Server@Gargron if you tell anyone to try Mastodon, and they go to the Android Play Store, the client they get does not keep a pointer to the last read post. When you click the ribbon to get the new posts, it puts you on the most recent, and then you have to scroll down to try and find the last post you read. Really awful behavior for 2 years now. I guess real Mastodon users don't use the default one, or this would have been fixed a long time ago.

 @Gargron well plenty of people don't. And how do you know where the bottom is, how many posts do you read before you realize these are repeats? Do a poll and see what normal behavior is. |
