I took a new (to me) lens to San Francisco, the Canon FD 50mm/1.4, which I haven't had a chance to test before going (which I in hindsight realized was not very wise). I shot 4 rolls of film on the trip. Eagerly awaiting the scans to come back from the lab...

@Gargron I have the same one, and it's definitely fun! It's like having super powers to do wonderful portraits! 😁

@Gargron one of the best, and the price makes you wonder 🤔 how on Earth can they make this available at the cost!

@Gargron hopefully the fog only made for great shots, instead of limiting them!

@Gargron nice things about SLRs is that if you focus through the finder and see aperture blades move, most likely you’re ok. But there’s still that wait when it comes to film, it’s like a scratch card. I like it. Hope your photos turn out as you wish they did.

@analog_cafe On this one, the aperture blades seemed to get stuck after the shutter press instead of returning to full open, until I wound to next frame. So of course I'm worried that it might have affected the exposure.

@Gargron 😬😬😬 hopefully they were getting stuck in correct position

@Gargron great lens! I was lucky to get that one handed down on my Grandma’s Canon FTb
