Okay, it is a little strange that Mastodon still doesn't come up in Google Play Store search. Anyone know what could be the reason?
@Gargron I noticed it takes a few days for apps to catch on. Maybe it's an anti-bot measure to prevent shady apps from being highlighted?

@Gargron it shows up under "more results" right above the "Librem Social" app when searching for "Mastodon".
I assume Google doesn't think it's relevant (yet)
Thanks for pointing it out; it does show up, just not on the first page of results. Presumably ranked low as a new app for now.

It might be because of the Mature rating?
@Gargron it's ranked really low tho. took me 30 seconds to scroll to find it. let's hope we can get it higher

Did they say what their initial concerns were? (cos they took their time in approving it, didn't they? )
At any rate, more downloads should help... 🤷♂️
@gabor There was no communication before, during or after approval, just the approval

@Gargron it does show..but you have to scroll almost to the bottom.

@Gargron I'm guessing once we get some more installs it will rise in the rankings. I used a direct link on my browser to find it - not ideal. It looks great though!
