you know what we kind of want?
a tiling window manager without titlebars
like the map of windows would be something you'd have to pull up separately, perhaps in some sort of "minimap" overlay

@ireneista I dunno about the minimap but I'm sure no-titlebars-ever is an option in i3 somewhere @RL_Dane@fosstodon.org @ireneista@irenes.space @PetraOleum@cloudisland.nz I've been using no title bars in bspwm and more recently river. It's fine, title bars aren't necessary
@paul @RL_Dane @ireneista @PetraOleum Yeah, it's basically just noise anyway, it's there for no reason at all really. @sotolf@social.linux.pizza @RL_Dane@fosstodon.org @ireneista@irenes.space @PetraOleum@cloudisland.nz Yeah, I know what the window is from the content that's in it
@paul @RL_Dane @ireneista @PetraOleum Yeah, it's kind of weird to have everything tell you what they are, I don't have postits on everything telling me what they are either, postits on my monitors saying "monitor" on my mouse saying "mouse" etc :p |
it might turn out to be totally unusable, but we'd like to play with it
