@pixelfed@mastodon.social you should know better than to rely on a channel created by someone else on a platform controlled by someone else.
@matrix@mastodon.matrix.org at least give a very reasonable and generous response here, but really you should be using your own platform.
Either self host matrix, or because it's a project; you should be using a forum (Discourse or whatever) so conversations are searchable and archivable.
Discord is a cop out, it is lazy and shows you don't care about your community; just what is easier for you and the members that happen to already use Discord. And no, that is not everyone.
