@maxc I've tried a few times to ditch that one, but eventually I always get someone who sends me a really important email with all sorts of embded content so I download it again.. @neauoire I just use my host's webmail haha cause Thunderbird is basically an every more power hungry browser 🙃 @neauoire my old email setup is something I think to revive at some point. Well into the 2010s I had my mail server somewhere on the internet and then did uucp over tcp/ssl to send/receive messages. Worked very well intermittently connected in places like central Africa. Then just my favourite local email client (I use emacs but pine or mutt would do equally well)
