Gregory's ServerYou know how Spamhaus wrongfully added us to their spam blocklist because some malware retrieved a public profile on here? Like, made a normal HTTP request to a public page that happened to be on our domain? Well, I obviously contacted them and had us taken down from the list, but now Kaspersky seems to have taken that information and added us to their blocklist. I've contacted them as well but this is getting ridiculous.

@Gargron So THAT'S why! But, in that case, how come Kaspersky isn't detecting a problem when I use the IceCat browser, despite the fact it usually would?

@Gargron I don't think it's feasible to allow 600k users to publish anything they want and host that on the public internet. Must lock down user profiles just like Instagram did.

@Gargron I've been having trouble with email, and they (lately it's been gmail) really have no answers that make it even make sense that they might have a "good reason" to consider something spam. And... I really think sometimes it's just, "we feel it fair to block this, because it's clearly not a "legitimate" domain with lots of email coming from it."

@Gargron im facing the same issue. grabbed my phone and gave some blocklist maintainers a call, only half of the entries at virustotal went away. now i don't bother with it anymore and assume that everyone still lives in a free internet.  |
@Gargron This happened also to us.. And be careful since many other anti-virus just simply copy and paste their data.. :sad_cat:
It took me months to get mstdn.social removed from all those "anti-virus" companies for that one false error.
