Gregory's Server@retiolus For twenty years I've had my domains on a cheap shared hosting account, and used multiple email accounts without issue. I'm currently paying NZD150 (about €100) a year, which covers websites and utility software as well as email.
I use Thunderbird on my laptop and whatever works best on my mobile devices. I archive mail to our NAS, and can search 25 years of email there without issue.
There will be reasons a setup like this won't work for you, but I don't think it's a bad option.
@leighelse I don't want to pay more than 24EUR/year for a mail service. I selfhost everything, but email is something I don't want to. I'll take a look at zoho, thanks!
