@alb_004 @hszakher @pixelfed my thinking about this is that people are already wasting time on this so might as well waste time on the fediverse. Get people addicted to a better platform. Then their use could even be limited perhaps or idk, there's probably a way to solve it at that point.

@norbipeti @hszakher @pixelfed when it comes to insta reels or tiktok, it's not only about addiction but also about creepy data collection and managing practices and useless contents to hook their users.
But when it comes to fediverse (loops) hope it wont happen. Also the devs provide us alot more control over what we consume on the platform.
Also it would be algorithm-free. So we can control the addiction if we want to. ✌️
