@nikitonsky That's a pet peeve of mine - when WYSIWYG systems (Mac, Windows) started adopting the Copy/Copy/Paste/Undo paradigm, a German system should have used ctrl-y instead of ctrl-z because the idea of the design was to have all the shortcuts close by the ctrl key. And I still modify the keymap on my Mac systems (with German kbd) so that I can undo with cmd-Y for that reason.
@tempelorg yes, obviously. Russian layout has its quirks, too, I usually solve them by always buying English/US keyboards
