20 years ago ppl had the option to calmly grab the fire extinguisher. Now we'd need to flood people's houses with water, rip out their gas pipes, demolish their cars, cancel the industries they work in, take away their entertainment systems and ridicule most of the opinions they hold. "We need to react calmly" is an anachronism in regards to the current state of climate catastrophe.

@NumberHill @ExtinctionR I think you grossly misunderstand what I mean and wrote.

You repeat the same talking points as if I would be a climate change denier or if I would say, that it's not urgent.

As I wrote: Panic does not solve anything. It's only an empty word for a reactive emotion, which kills people when they are in emergency situations.

It's not an anachronism, it's just how we should be acting RIGHT NOW.
For ourselves, for other people and for the next generations.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn't think you were a climate change denier.
Anyway, I think panic is appropriate right now and everyone needs a strong burst of it as soon as possible. That burst leads to action, if you'd like the action can be calm then.
