@alex @collinsworth I'm in charge of the software side of a scientific instrument project. Mostly Python with some Fortran mixed in for when we need to go _fast_. https://www.ansto.gov.au/high-performance-macromolecular-crystallography-beamline Little-known fact: FORTRAN invented by Dr. Charles Forbin who used it to program COLOSSUS for the US government in the 1970's. There's a movie about it I think... ;-) |
