@AutisticMumTo3 I agree! I think it's very easy to hide antisemitism in “Israel-criticism” and some people (however, usually from the far right) simply replace “the Jews” with “the Zionists” and think that makes their statement any better. I think the discussion around antisemitism is nuanced and antisemitism isn't simply whenever someone directly mentions the Jewish people.
I endorse the Jerusalem Declaration of Antisemitism (JDA) which, in my opinion, is very differentiated about deciding what truly is antisemitism and what is legitimate criticism of the Israeli state, government, or specific actions.
This congress is, in my opinion, not antisemitic. Even though I have not checked the background of every speaker, I have seen how the event organizers work, treat people, and uninvited antisemitic or true pro-Hamas organizations from this event. They do their absolute best to create a diverse and accepting congress with many Jewish voices and organizations present.
