Ranga cat had a tiny bite injury go unnoticed and go bad. Formed a mass of abscess under skin, which was very painful for her and then opened up to a large gash with her muscles visible through - this actually relieved her pain.

The vet prescribed antibiotics to keep her safe from further infections. Now ten days later almost all healed - see third photo! *phew*
