I use a fork of Mastodon client on Android and it seems upstream has brought in contemporary UI expertise from the industry to make things harder error. (Haven't verified, so keep that bowl of salt handy) Saving an image/video was one tap when media was open, now it's a click, a swipe and another click away. That button to initiate a download exists exactly where it was, only has additional steps to achieve the same result. Progress! Testing shelf-hosted infrastructure with chaos cats. Need metal brackets and screws asap. Ranga cat had a tiny bite injury go unnoticed and go bad. Formed a mass of abscess under skin, which was very painful for her and then opened up to a large gash with her muscles visible through - this actually relieved her pain. The vet prescribed antibiotics to keep her safe from further infections. Now ten days later almost all healed - see third photo! *phew* Watching someone smart defend http without encryption because shitty ISPs are not their problem. My previous ISP used to inject ads and javascript into unsecured sites, in addition to selling metadata. Sites without https are a threat vector, thank you for enabling nasty governments and shady marketers with your principles. Why bother dealing with reality when your opinions are hard-coded 😆 |
