@balterwenjamin42 I recommend avoiding buying the T44*, this misstep is just a silly experiment by Lenovo. By the way, what’s your budget?

@blitdev Oh I haven't decided on the budget yet, the plan was just to get something used I can mess around with, throw in the backpack, take wherever and it wouldn't be too bad if it broke. Between 200-300 USD?

@balterwenjamin42 I also recommend buying a screen blanket to carry him in a backpack, otherwise with the high pressure on the lid there is a high risk of scratching the anti-reflective layer. It costs a couple of dollars on AliExpress (Link: https://sl.aliexpress.ru/p?key=3GU0OWO)

I bought mine without an SSD for ~260 dollars in Russia. The price depends a lot on the region, but from what I understand they are much cheaper in the US. If you plan to buy a used Intel-powered ThinkPad (f.e. T480), don’t forget to update the Thunderbolt controller firmware, or better yet, ask the seller to do so (it’s very important).
