Couldn't we all just change the terms of use of our #Mastodon servers and specify that any publication coming from #Threads federating with our server belongs to us and that we have full rights over it? Just to do like them...

I just ran into the "threads" issue yesterday. They do not conform to Mastodon rules, such as character limits, and should be banned from cross posting period.

@PerryM well, Threads's posts are not cross posting, they are federating (one way for now) with the fediverse via ActivityPub.

@PerryM you can block threads.net by visiting any threads.net profile and opening the three dots menu.
