The comparison between the VAE and Israel in that matter Israel wins by a landslide still.  @deadda7a @LotusHopper Compare #Israel when it comes to #Democracy in ANY #middleeast country and the story is the same. @LotusHopper There are mos def policies I disagree with too in this matter.
But let’s not move the goal posts: this is a conversation about #democracy
#Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It’s the most open, tolerant, accepting, and free. It’s the #1 place to live if you’re a woman who values freedoms and agency. Ditto for the #lgbtq community.
