@pixelfed I really despise the intrusion of threads, but at least you are gathering stats that will hopefully allow us all to see any impacts it will make. I do think there needs to be some qualifications on those followers numbers. It should some how take into account the size of the home server. I have to believe the number of zuck follows is inflated by some kind forced suggestion coupled with morbid curiosity.

@pixelfed what measures did you put in place to prevent another kind of XMPP betrayal ?
