@a1ba @lanodan "best" part of Snap is they move stuff to it but it doesn't even work in their own containers. I was using containers for a project at work an an engineer is like "why is my snap failing" well you can't use snap, use the deb. Oops there isn't one.

@Moon @lanodan we using lxd at work to install some old ass ubuntu 16.04 to build legacy Android 7.1.

And for some reason it works for me but not for everybody else. So they just chroot which is ok if used carefully.

@a1ba @lanodan snaps have other bullshit too, like you can't use them if you have a home directory that isn't in /home because they have the sandboxing hardcoded and it's too hard to change.
