What the fuck, I don't think I've EVER heard of a site doing that, even Facebook will just suspend the account

@davidgerard > I stand behind the decision that your name has to be placed on your profile and it cannot be reverted or nullified/anonymized from the platform. I am sorry that we disagree on this issue.

jesus fuck. “no I won’t redact your personal information from what’s claimed to be a platform for anonymous reviews, sorry we disagree” sure is a fucking stance. how long til we find out these fuckers are doing blackballing-as-a-service behind the scenes?

@davidgerard I'm glad I only ever looked at that shit using a bugmenot password.

@davidgerard Kinda defeats the point of the usp.

Bart Allen

@davidgerard which is a weird stance on things seeing as they won't post your review of a company if you use your name, the name of someone who isn't in a C-Suite position or even if you use language that would make an indication of who you or someone at that company is. (Excluding C-Suite)

@davidgerard Done. Fuck that shit. Of course as soon as I logged in they mandated I add my real name and my current employer, without any options to avoid this. So for a short moment I was Bobo Bobolicious of Bobo's Boat Oars.

@davidgerard

I see more and more companies doing this authoritarian "we do what we want" bullshit and not caring what their users want. It's disturbing.

Don't give these companies your data. If they care so little about what you want, they will do shady things with your info behind your back when it benefits them.

@davidgerard
So now none of their data is good.

Glassdoor was a trustworthy source on employers because if its anonymity.

Now it's just an employer circle-jerk recruitment tool.

@davidgerard thereby eliminating their sole distinguishing value proposition. Yet another brilliant business decision from Silly Valley
