The probable couse of events would be:

Scream into the void.

Stare into the abyss (of bleak future).

Scream into the abyss (strongly discouraged).

Stare into the abyss (again) - or at what is moning in there.

Scream into the abyss (again) - or at what’s coming from there.

Stare into the void (after your mind has left).
