#Dune is well worth a trip to the cinema, I can say that much.

@Gargron I'm kinda worried about seeing it in theaters because I watched part 1 at home on my OLED TV with those inky black levels. When I saw a movie at the theater the other week, I could actively see the gray "blacks"

@Gargron As a fan of the original books, I don't think I could ask for more. Villeneuve is a superb director. I was fully convinced after watching Arrival, wich is also a great, beautiful sci-fi film.

I like it. Better than the first one but this is not a Dennis Villeneuve film. The tone of the film is not unique his and that film could be made by anyone.
And they are aiming for a multi film saga for sure.
