It used to be integrated right into the phone app, before that it was separated out by Google Duo. I'm still confused. @Marighost @nonfedimemes google meet video calls and volte video calls are separate afaik  @nonfedimemes I tell friends that Google named its parent company Alphabet so it could keep an alphabetical list of their failed companies and projects. @chuck @nonfedimemes But wait... wait... '+' isn't an alphabetic character. Maybe they should have called their parent company 'ASCII'? @nonfedimemes this is the reason I do not and will never use Google apps. I once tried to get my head around Oracle licensing - just the once. And never again.  There is this! My phone is almost like this. Everyone knows product renaming is an invaluable business strategy to innovation and growth. @nonfedimemes @HunterZ They stole a page from Microsoft!  I'm waiting for AI (it's not really) to scramble google and all its pieces so badly that it becomes unusable and it goes the way of myspace. @nonfedimemes I never got embroiled enough in the Google ecosystem to encounter this mess 😆 It’s crazy how little they care for their branding. I don’t even try to remember or even know their latest product changes, I just got tired with them. |
