@ErikUden @funbaker Not even a tiny bit would get me into building such a infrastrucutre! We should learn out of the issues with Mailservers and not do the same mistakes. The bad space is the perfect example of how wrong it could get within fediverse

@ErikUden I assume that those people are just confusing spam with hatespeech, and thus should be ignored, and also those two things must continue to be handled completely separate.

Look, who decides what Spam is?
Objectively one could define mutual aid as Spam. I dont think that there should be a central Authority which defines a List.
Id rather improve tooling, like out of the 3 main software 2 can handle Spam pretty well just Mastodon cant.

@funbaker @ErikUden RBLs were never a reliable source of information. It was usually one dude power tripping and extorting money for delisting.

If the fediblock crowd found out about the second part they may have a viable, if unethical, business model.
