Gregory's Server#Forgejo just announced of becoming a hard #fork. Previously, it was a soft fork of #Gitea. This is important news for all maintainers of #Gitea instances.
If you mainain a #Gitea instance and care about #FreeSoftware, I strongly recommend to switch to #Forgejo soon as it takes user freedom more seriously; unlike Gitea, #proprietary tools like Discord and Crowdin are rejected.
Now is a good time to #migrate because it's still easy, but it might become harder later.
