Very pleased with our new galley.

@rek And rightly so, it turned out so nice! 😍

@rek Seems like a big trade. An oven and two burners for food storage. 🤔 Did it just use too much fuel, or did you never really use it and prefer the extra food storage?

@st0neman The post explains the reasons behind our decision in detail, but in short, we can do most things on the stove-top, and 1 burner for us is plenty.

Do you still use the induction cooktop at all? Also, in the IH cook top article it's mentioned:

> We sold the Japanese model because of the power difference, and bought another model in September 2021 to use while connected to shore power during winters in victoria.

Which model did you get, and were you happy with it?

R E K

@keverets We use it all winter long (this is our 4th winter cooking with it). It's a single burner Kuraidori model and yes, we do like it.

@rek so much more space. I’ve never used more than one burner at a time on the boat. #onepotlife

Good tradeoff in my opinion.

@ryan Same here. The big stove we had was good but keeping something that big for a single burner wasn't entirely worth it.
