Serious question: How do you "police your followers"? As far as I'm aware of only the instance admins/mods can do any moderation action?

@brainwane @danhon  I figure, if I block someone, that reduces how often I will be the conduit through which they see posts I make or boost, and thus reduce how often I will be a contributing factor to them being rude to me or someone I'm boosting. Your replies to me have (I think) assumed that I'm going for ways to use software to maximally prohibit/ban people. But, like @danhon's images, what I'm talking about is not, or not just, on the software level. I'm using conversation as a moderation tool as well. And I'm reducing how much they get to benefit from my presence.  @max @brainwane @danhon if someone follows me, they see any posts I boost in their home timeline (unless they have my boosts off but if they're replying to things bc I boosted them, they probably don't). If I block them, they are no longer following me, they won't see my boosts in their home timeline, and they can't go to my page while signed in. They can still see the post, but it requires finding it elsewhere or block evasion  @brainwane @max @danhon |

"Police" here is perhaps the wrong word! One could:
* argue with the follower if they say something rude
* embarrass the rude follower by saying something like "Sorry, original poster, I regret my follower's behavior here"
* have a chat with the rude follower to say "what led you to do that? don't you have manners?"
* block them
