i used my vision pro for the first time in a few days and after five minutes, remembered why i don't like using it. just opening a handful of safari tabs and thinking “oh wow i feel nothing inside”

as a thought leader, i will leave you with this: no experience in the vision pro has come close to touching the pure ecstasy and joy i felt the first time i heard “I Don’t Want It At All” by Kim Petras. thanks i love you goodbye @Gargron yep, packing it up later today. I feel like I can’t get anything meaningfully done in it, and it's hard to justify keeping such an expensive device that’s effectively read-only @samhenrigold my thoughts exactly. I’m waiting for all the hype to die down and everyone to realize it’s just an uncomfortable, less convenient iPad, and not going to replace the Mac @tfinch I'm ducking behind my window so the apple hitmen can't get to me but the most productive I've ever been in the vision pro was when i mirrored my mac to it |
don't get me wrong, it's a technical marvel. i just…there's nothing that excites me.
