@nasa I had no idea the moon was that small! I've looked up at the night sky before and it always seemed so big and majestic, but here it is, peeping through a hole in some archway like a tiny little pebble. It's almost disappointing, really. And to think, all this time I've been in awe of something that's probably just a couple dozen meters across. I guess I'll have to find a new celestial object to admire. 3. Keck Observatory & @ChandraXRay: @KeckObservatory took the infrared composite image on the left in 2004 with adaptive optics. On the right is the same image with the addition of Chandraโs X-ray data, shown in magenta. A spiral of stars ๐ A few months after the final Hubble servicing mission, the telescope took this #HubbleClassic image of the spiral galaxy M100.
