𧡠The unique danger of fascism is that its irrationality cannot be defeated rationally. Fact checks and policy comparisons are useless because accuracy and sound thinking are secondary goods to most people No surprise: More than half of the main RFK political action committee's revenue came from a Trump mega donor. Kennedy is a Republican stooge. https://www.politico.com/news/2023/07/31/rfk-jr-super-pac-gop-donor-00109101 Elon Musk is so stupid that he's unintentionally forwarding a troll who sent him the X Window System logo that's been around since 1984 as if it were new thing made for him.

I forgot to tag @XOrgFoundation. Hopefully you guys won't have to sue for such blatant trademark infringement. Big business & govt are already using AI for their purposes, and the rest of us can figure out how we can as well. We're at a very important moment for early adopters of large language model technologies. Most people and organizations haven't figured out what AI can do for them. They've got enormous flaws. But nonetheless, they are very, very useful to those who know their capabilities and limitations. Oh my. @Mediaite conservative writer Isaac Schorr misread the Twitter account @joinmastodon as "John Mastodon," and said that the open source social media software was named after this imaginary person. https://www.mediaite.com/opinion/hypocrisy-and-fear-all-the-way-down-at-twitter/

@mattsheffield this place just hasn't been the same since John Mastodon's been removed π @mattsheffield just imagine if someone incited a violent insurrection via Twitter that ended in an actual loss of life and an attack on a government building. That account should definitely be banned.... Hey, wait a minute... |
Fascism is pure emotional negativity so to argue against it or to call the great leader fascist to someone who is in the thrall of fascism sounds like complete nonsense to them. It's as rational as proving a negative.
Most people are not able to process that argument. Which is why a positive message of what you or your candidate will do is more effective.
You cannot be more negative than Trump. But he cannot be more positive.
