I’ve requested account deletion on both of the #Meta platforms I use, #Facebook and #Instagram. Of course they make it difficult (30-day retention policy you can’t override where if you log in at all your account is revived), and the option to delete was obfuscated and took 10+ clicks to confirm once it was found.

@mastodom Glad to see you leaving them. Only reason I'm keeping my lettersite account is to make sure no one else takes the name and impersonates me.
