This is Gatsby who lives down the road. Always runs to say hello (except when there’s some pigeon-watching to be done) and gives the biggest bunts (my jeans are now covered in cat hair). He was also very talkative today. A solid 12/10. I have just found a treasure trove of old family photos. I haven’t got time to sort through them all but… My maternal grandfather as a boy with his cat! (I presume it’s his rather than a stage prop. I remember him being a cat lover.) Back at the gîte some smol voidlets are becoming a bit more mobile. Very wobbly on their feets and not at all sure about people (quite rightly). A #Caturday themed photo memory from 10 years ago…a cake topper I made for a friend’s little girl Olive’s first birthday, based on her favourite story books ‘The Church Mice’ by Graham Oakley. The cake was the top tier from my friend’s wedding cake which I only had to decorate. For a late #caturday…this photo of my little Billy Bobster just popped up in my ‘on this day’ 11 years ago. A special cat who wasn’t with us for long but left a lasting impression. Hard to believe that this skinny little stray turned out to be the chonkiest of cats. The very much missed Alfie (best cat ever) on his ‘gotcha day’ for #ThrowbackThursday. |
