kubernetes has two moods: "wow this is really nice I can orchestrate huge changes safely and it's all very easy to keep track of" and "i wish only for the death of modern enterprise computing and the ability to run into the woods to live as a hermit, living off the land, forever free from this torment" just completely fucking dumbfounded by this robot amazon announced recently. $999 for this thing. it's just a goddamn alexa on wheels and a shitton of cameras. it can't handle stairs. the advertising has it patrolling your house for intruders (you know like a fucking set of security cameras can already do if you're that paranoid). amazon is not even trying to hide their intentions with this thing. i have never seen something more worthy of a platinum internet of shit medal. jesus christ i bought an aeron chair because my back started hurting i felt guilty about it until i realized the warranty is twelve fucking years so i'll probably use this chair until i'm 40  @bclindner You're the second person talking about buying a new chair on my timeline and now I want one too hmmm today i will make a standard markup format for http web pages and design it to not make full use of the standard here I am my linux install is taking forever to sudo and login and everything points to hostname problems but my hostname is properly set??? fucks sakr @bclindner Check if your /etc/hosts points localhost &co to the right IP, I think I might have experienced something similar before |
