This is one of the more impressive bits of absolutely insane overdoing it that I've ever seen: (ab)using Blender's raytracing engine to make a simulated film camera, with simulated real optics, to take simulated photographs of scenes.

I can't even imagine how much GPU time went into these, but it's a delightful labor of love. Or maybe just as a way to keep warm during the long, cold Canadian winter.
