The @thunderbird team reports progress on transitioning K-9 Mail into Thunderbird for Android, focusing on a Material 3 UI update, targeting Android 14, improving IMAP communication, and supporting the new predictive back gesture. this will be a great opportunity for #mozilla to use #thunderbird as a way to bring all of it's data collection to #android #Bartender, a popular macOS app to customize your menu bar, recently changed ownership secretly, raising user concerns. The new owners confirmed the acquisition but didn't clarify the secrecy, increasing user unease.
