A rare find in our region here in Northern Ontario, but often found south of the Great Lakes: The Common Buckeye (Junonia coenia) butterfly.
I saw it for the first time this morning.

@Hagukh I am a fan of these spherical sparrows - some of ours are still around. I expect they will all leave us soon, as the Dark-eyed Juncos have already done. One day -- 100 juncos. The next day: 0 juncos.
