Somebody came home this afternoon smelling like sweet syrup. Since cats should smell on the spectrum between dirt and cat, this was outside of established norms and since we live in suburbia, I concluded that he rolled around in some engine coolant.

Instant bath for you, Mr. Cat.

He's so wonderfully tolerant of the process, except the blow dryer. He makes sure you know he doesn't like it.

Luckily, no injuries to the groomer.

Shout out to Vanessa who runs Girl With The Dogs grooming/YouTube channel for sharing hours of animal bathing and grooming videos and explainers. While my boy is not too fussy, I was able to confidently give him a much needed spot bath without being torn to shreds after watching hours of cat baths and grooms.

This would be his second bath under my care. I'm still slowly introducing him to the concept and I believe I've found some of his "don't wanna" just from those two sessions.

A marked improvement, I say comparing the before and after.
