I'll tell you something that bugs me way more than it should: when websites have all-caps text hard-coded into the string when `text-transform` should've been used. You are the reason I had to rewrite whatever in lowercase.

@samhenrigold if they DO bitch about it: they'll mention how terrible and woke Apple is, and post it to Tweeter from an iPhone. @samhenrigold this post has done psychic damage to me, expect a call from my personal injury lawyer are you even a real designer if you don’t grind the corners of a pop tart to a rounded rect before eating it @samhenrigold I was going to reply "what's stopping you from coding like this" with a picture of a bread that's totally covered in mold, but I got too grossed out looking at the search results. i ran out of bourbon last night, anyone have any recommendations on what to get next? open to trying new ones.

@samhenrigold Eagle Rare, which isn’t easy to find lately, is worth giving a try. A 10yr bourbon without the cost of one. Websites from EXACTLY 2011 have a vibe. Elements have a gradient, top highlights, inner shadows, and a bit of noise grain. HTML5 is used but text is still crammed into pngs at 1x pixel scale. Life is simpler. <header> ...maybe for good measure bento for mac was a really good app and we don’t give it enough praise. don’t @ me i’m going to bed goodnight @samhenrigold my app Tap Forms Organizer 5 can import your Bento libraries very easily. Even imports the custom layouts, relationships, photos, files, etc. Just in case you'd like a more modern database app in that category. |
@samhenrigold 10/10 developers write that stuff. You show some respect.
@samhenrigold I've forgotten where I recently heard about it, but maybe convertcase.net could be useful for you? 🙂
