So far Starfield is okay but not sure about the graphics, textures look a bit poor.

@gamingonlinux Note to self: get the Gravis Joystick, the MT-32 and play Wing Commander again!

evilmiera

@gamingonlinux Really wish Wing Commander and Privateer were easier to play from a UX experience, even as someone who grew up in the 90s.

@gamingonlinux I donโ€™t think itโ€™s specific to BG3 but on my NVIDIA card I was getting big performance drops after playing couple of hours. I downloaded MSI Afterburner and changed the fan profile to kick in at lower temps. Solid 120 FPS at 4k now. Seems like nvidia drivers prefer quietness over performance. Obviously not talking about Deck.

Mike Plemmons

@gamingonlinux I was concerned enough with the performance that I ended up pre-ordering it for my console. I still have a little lingering regret that I didn't get for my SteamDeck.

Google Chrome is an instrument of surveillance. It lets thousands of trackers invade users' computers and report the sites they visit to advertising and data companies, first of all to Google. Moreover, if users have a Gmail account, Chrome automatically logs them in to the browser for more convenient profiling. On Android, Chrome also reports their location to Google.

Was discussing the weight of the leaked Lenovo Legion Go and...that's not portable. That would absolutely kill my wrists.

Steam Deck: 669g
Legion Go: 854g

@gamingonlinux Steam Deck personally isnโ€™t that heavy for me (my play sessions on Deck are 30 minutes to an hour and a half), and if the Legion has the hardware to back it up I donโ€™t mind the extra weight. Of course, I wonโ€™t be buying a Legion as I am very enamored with my Deck.

Michael Labowicz

@gamingonlinux missing the point in my view, they should be going lighter!

Sylver W. Poulsen

@gamingonlinux It should come with a stand, like Kid Icarus for the 3DS ๐Ÿ˜.

@gamingonlinux Here's a fun game. Search 'Steam Strategy Fest' and see how many clicks it takes from the first results to get to the actual sale. And how many places on those pages could/should be links to the sale but aren't.

Luiz Costa

@gamingonlinux it's not a strategy game, but I bought Baba is You

@gamingonlinux I am was tempted to get Steel Division 2 but the first review turned me off. Besides, there are several other games I have purchased and not even downloaded yet this year.

@gamingonlinux Loved Desperados III, and Shadow Gambit has been on my list. Just been too into Baldur's Gate! Hopefully another awesome studio picks up their peeps.

@gamingonlinux Welp, #MimimiGames was one of the very few German developers that was able to provide high quality and fun games. Even though we have a ton of people enjoying gaming culture and capable developers the the computer games industry is absolutely pathetic here these days. Even though it has been different like 30 years ago or so...

@gamingonlinux Could be Cyberpunk, patch 1.7 is prepping for the DLC and the game is going through a major overhaul of pretty much everything, regardless if you buy the DLC or not.

A week later and NVIDIA still haven't put up the correct changelog for Linux driver 535.104.05....

Sander van Kasteel

@gamingonlinux That driver release is just a phantom release. Nothing substantially changed other than the version number ๐Ÿ˜‚๏ธ

Opsitive

@gamingonlinux The whole 535 release was a disaster for me. 1 FPS in both WoW and FF XIV. I'm sticking with the 530 Linux driver.
